Jack's books are ideally suited to Prep through Year 4, but his author talks and musical storytelling work well for any primary school setting. He can tailor his session to suit older students in Years 5–6 too.

A standard session runs 45–60 minutes and can accommodate a whole-school assembly or a series of smaller classroom visits throughout the day. Half-day and full-day options are available — ideal for larger schools or festival-style days.

Yes! Jack is based in Brisbane and regularly visits schools across Queensland and interstate. Travel costs may apply for regional or interstate schools. Please include your location in the request form and we'll discuss options.

Jack's visits are eligible for a range of funding programs including the Australia Council for the Arts schools programs and various state arts agency grants. We're happy to assist with any supporting documentation you need. Please mention in your enquiry if you're applying for a grant.

Yes — we can arrange bulk book orders for schools who'd like to sell copies on the day, and Jack is always happy to sign books for students. Please flag this in your request and we'll coordinate with you in advance.

For smaller classroom sessions, Jack is self-contained and needs very little. For larger assemblies, a basic PA system (or school hall system) with a microphone for voice is helpful. Jack brings his own acoustic guitar. We'll confirm all technical needs with you before the visit.
