About Jack

Stories in
song & print

Raised amidst the valleys of New South Wales' mid-north coast, and the banjos and bunting of Australia’s folk festivals, Jack Carty grew up with stories and songs in his bones. That early world of campfires and community gave him a lifelong compulsion to create that has since taken him around the world.

With seven studio albums, three E.Ps and a growing shelf of children's books to his name, Jack has built a loyal grassroots-following through honest storytelling and a powerful live show. He has shared stages with the likes of Josh Pyke, Katie Noonan, Bernard Fanning, Lisa Mitchell, Sarah Blasko, and Kate Miller-Heidke nd played festivals from Austin to Barcelona.

Offstage, Jack and his illustrator wife Natasha are the team behind The Cardy Club, an award-winning greetings card business sold across five continents.
