Sunshine Sounds Festival
JACK CARTY
Entry Requirements: All Ages
Sunshine Sounds Festival has emerged like a phoenix from the ashes. Against the backdrop of the COVID world, we have the opportunity to acknowledge homegrown artistry on Gubbi Gubbi Country. We are proud to deliver our inaugural Sunshine Sounds Festival and super happy to share that the festival programming is 100% QLD artists, 50% First Nations, 50% Sunshine Coast and 75% female artists. Yay to that!
An all-ages music festival, Sunshine Sounds boasts a line up featuring Kate Miller-Heidke, Busby Marou, Miiesha, Katie Noonan, Asha Jefferies, Sahara Beck and a host of amazing local artists including Andrea Kirwin and the Yama-Nui Social Club, The Dreggs, Band of Frequencies and more!
Presented by Kin Music, we’ve set out to create a festival that really brings people together. Gathering through music is so important for the soul, for community spirit and connection. It’s also about artists having a chance to perform together, earn some much-needed $$$ and remember what it feels like to play live again!
Our sponsors at The Imperial Hotel and Eumundi Brewery will be serving up fresh brews and locally crafted Folktale Gin over the weekend.
Sunshine Sounds Festival has been generously supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland to support the activation of outdoor productions and the engagement of local communities in arts and cultural experiences.
The festival has also been supported by the Eumundi Community and District Association (EDCA) and Experience Eumundi.
Come and soak up the big-hearted groove of this truly special community festival in mid-Autumn on the Labour Day Long Weekend.
